Foothills Digital School: Hear what students have to say about attending school virtually

To get a glimpse into the way that education happens in the Foothills Digital School, it only makes sense to ask those who are experiencing it firsthand. From student feedback, it is evident that this online, virtual learning environment is a good fit for certain students. Comments and reflections not only speak to the content and learning opportunities available to these students, but also to the relationships established between the students and their teachers. Even though the interactions may not be in-person, teachers work hard to create an engaging, interactive and personable learning context for students.

Foothills Digital School truly relies on the active participation of students and their parents in order to make learning successful for each student. This community approach to learning allows for teachers and staff to partner with parents in making the unique learning experience possible for each student, in the context of their current reality. The success of each student is not only a significant celebration for the student, but also for everyone involved.
